Thank you for visiting our Joy Outreach web site. Our goal is to introduce you to our ministry and the vision we have for this community and beyond. I believe God gives each ministry a specific work to do in His vineyard, and we are endeavoring to do our part. When Joy Outreach began in July of 1994, God spoke to my heart
Luke 4:18-19:
Jesus went into the synagogue on the Sabbath after having been water baptized, in the wilderness for forty days, then tempted by Satan to sin against God. When handed the scroll of Isaiah, He read: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed Me to preach the Gospel, He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind; to set free those who are downtrodden, and to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.”
God’s word to me was: “I have called you to preach My Gospel to those who will come, and let them know that because of Me they can be healed physically and emotionally, and set free through My Son, Jesus Christ, from their past life of sin and hurt. Show them that I have a plan for their life and help them grow up spiritually so that they can fulfill their destiny.” Joy Outreach is a place where the love of God is felt. Love covers a multitude of sin, and as we learn to love as God loves, we find relationship and fellowship just naturally follows.
