Ignite - Youth Group
Ignite Youth is about building a passion in middle school and high school students for Jesus and the Kingdom of God.
Our core values for Ignite are:
- To help the youth discover Jesus Christ and realize the saving power of His blood. {1 John 1:7}
- To help them establish their identity in Christ and recognize Him as their Lord, Savior, and friend. {Acts 2:36, 2 Tim. 1:9-10, John 15:15}
- To embrace the Holy Spirit and operate within the gifts that He has for everyone. {1 Cor. 12:4-11}
- To root and establish them in the living Word of God. {Is. 40:8, Hebrews 10:16}
- To provide an atmosphere of freedom to whole heartedly pursue Jesus and to see them live with a burning passion for Him in their everyday lives.
We see the youth of Joy Outreach Fellowship not as a seperate entity of the church but as part of the body. We believe that God's movement within His church will not just involve one generation, or one group of people, but rather it will be cross-generational and cross-cultural. We believe that this generation will stand on the shoulders of previous generations to advance God's Kingdom higher and further than the earth has ever seen.
